During his visit at Chatsworth Elementary, two-time Olympian Mark Crear told the students that he has found that there are three things an individual must do to be successful.

  • Work Hard
  • Don’t cheat
  • Listen to your teacher/coach

Whether it’s in the Olympics or growing up, the above three things can help you excel in all aspects of life.

He also told the students that there will be times when you may not accomplish your goal. Not everyone can win but everyone has the ability to be resilient and be a true champion in life.

“Each and every one of you are important,” Mark told the class. “All of you are special.”
