GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity and this year will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

We are so excited to be celebrating GivingTuesday at Ready, Set, Gold! and give an enormous THANK YOU to every member of our community that has supported our mission. At RSG!, our mission is to partner with Olympians and Paralympians to inspire youth through sport by promoting the Olympic ideals of hard work, healthy living, and a growth mindset.

To amplify this mission and create a more significant impact, resources are required. This GivingTuesday we are humbly asking you all to support our mission by donating whatever amount you can manage at the link below:

One dollar = one student experiencing an in-person visit from an RSG! Olympian or Paralympian athlete mentor.

If your means do not allow you to give money, there are still ways to participate in #GivingTuesday! Here are a few ideas:

  1. Give Gratitude and Kindness

One of the best ways to give back is by doing simple acts of kindness toward other people. Whether it is telling someone how much they mean to you, holding the door open for someone, or simply listening, find a way to express gratitude on #GivingTuesday.

  1. Give Your Voice Online

Whatever cause you believe in and are passionate about, whether RSG! or not, post about the cause online. In today’s digital world, spreading the word online can reach more people than ever before.

  1. Give Your Time

With busy lives, it can take a lot of work to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering can be transformational. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. Volunteering and giving back can benefit your mental and physical health, reduce stress, and provide a sense of purpose.

At RSG! we are often looking for help in various activities, and it would mean the world to us for members to commit to volunteering on #GivingTuesday. Whether it is for a recent event or not until next year, please reach out to us if you are interested in finding ways to volunteer at Ready, Set, Gold!

Thank You to RSG! Supporters

We are deeply grateful for any donation, and we recognize that without you, none of this would be possible. To our teachers, donors, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and The Foundation for Global Sports Development and Sidewinder Films.  You help us move mountains to deliver quality SEL and fitness education to students across Southern California and the entire country. We are so excited for what is to come at RSG!, and we can’t wait to continue building the momentum by positively impacting an exponentially greater number of students across the United States.

You can donate and help bring ready, set, gold! to more students
